We at ClarityOrganizational Consulting work to make our website(www.doritgaron.co.il) accessible to people with disabilities.

 

The essence of an accessible website

An accessible website is a website that allows a person with a disability to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as other surfers, using the capabilities of the system on which he operates and through technologies that assist accessibility.

 

Making accessibility adjustments to the website

We have adapted the Website in accordance with Article C: Internet Services in the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments) 5773-2013, to the Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the guidelines [WCAG 2.0 , the Website has been made accessible to the A/AA/AA level], and subject to changes and adjustments made to the Israeli Standard document. In this framework:

• We ran Wix's accessibility wizardand fixed all the issues it found

• We've defined the language of the site

• We took care of the order of the content on all the pages of the site

• We have defined clear title structures, including semantics on all pages of the site.

• We've added alt text to the images

• We used color combinations in the required contrast ratio

• We've reduced disruptive traffic on the site

• We made sure to make the videos, audio, and files accessible on the site
